A benefit rock concert in support of the Rich Center for Autism, this sponsorship event brought together music, community, and design for a powerful cause. I volunteered to design a cohesive visual identity for the event, contributing marketing and merchandise materials, including brochures, posters, and t-shirts. The project was a collaborative effort that allowed me to use design to help amplify awareness and support for the Rich Center, showcasing how creativity can make a tangible impact.
In a short timeframe, we collaborated to develop a simple and effective logo with variations that met the project's needs.
The client initially requested a four-page letter-sized brochure. After reviewing the content and testing layouts, it became clear that the format would be cramped and difficult to read. Collaborating with the client, we opted for a more efficient trifold design—improving readability, reducing excess space, and saving on printing costs and materials.
Initial sketches provided a helpful starting point, but as the project evolved, the client and I aligned on a more dynamic layout to better reflect the energy of the event. The color palette was carried over to maintain a connection with YSU.
Colors, shapes, and textures were consistently applied throughout the project to maintain a cohesive brand and event identity.
Sponsorship logos and QR codes were placed, and complementary merchandise was designed to align with the overall branding and event.
